We had an excellent stay at Kolbe Hotel for Christmas!
The staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was delicious and very high quality!
We had drinks at the bar some nights and found the bartender to be very knowledgeable and skilled.
The hotel is also in a fantastic location. We had a great few of ruins at the Palatine Hill right outside our window. Travel to must-see landmarks was quick and easy by foot meaning we never felt like we had to go far to find something interesting to visit.
Thanks to the staff at the hotel for a wonderful stay and making our Christmas in Rome something special that we will always remember!
Loved this hotel and the staff! The location was so close to everything in Rome! Being near Palatine Hill, we would pass the Roman Forum and Colosseum every day. It was so beautiful in the evenings. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and made our stay fun. Especially Muhammad and Omar! They gave us helpful tips, especially when to get to the airport to complete our tax forms. They were also very fun, kind and courteous. The breakfast was very nice and sitting in the bar after a long day of site seeing with a glass of wine was so relaxing. Loved this place and would definitely recommend it!
10/10 recommend! A quiet/relaxing location that is still walkable for many wonderful restaurants, as well as the roman forum and colosseum (+ taxi's are inexpensive). The rooms are well sized, very clean, and modern. All the staff was absolutely wonderful and very attentive. Alessandro was so helpful and professional. He made our stay wonderful!
There is a beautiful garden in back and the restaurant on main level is wonderful (breakfast buffet included).
The best hotel we have stayed in all of Europe! Will recommend to all family and friends visiting Rome!
All comments wrt to price performance ratio: Really close to the city center, located in a safe neighborhood (at least it felt safe for me), our room was spacious and clean, common spaces were also clean and well decorated. Staff was also good, nothing to complain about actually... I would stay here again when I visit Rome. December: Our room was generally too hot (temperature wise), but it was December so opening the window solved the problem.

Comfortable and clean rooms, excellent breakfast with plenty of choices, lovely garden area, friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location minutes from the Forum and Palatine hill area; 10 minute walk to Coliseum, we were able to walk to most places within 20-30 minutes. Would stay again.
Staff have been excellent and very accommodating. Very friendly and quick to respond as well. Beautiful hotel in a great location. Room had what one needs; addition of a comfy chair would be my only recommendation.
